S.Q-Flercin(Fleroxacin) Uses:

Fleroxacin tablet is the generic form of the brand-name drug S.Q-Flercin, a drug indications can be used for acute bronchitis caused by sensitive bacteria of this product, acute bronchitis and respiratory infections such as pneumonia; cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, epididymitis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis and other urogenital Systemic infections; Salmonella enterica infection, bacterial dysentery and other digestive system infections; Skin and soft tissue infections, bone infections, abdominal infections and pelvic infections.

Side effect:

  • Gastrointestinal reactions: abdominal discomfort or pain, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting.
  • The central nervous system reaction may be dizziness, headache, lethargy or insomnia.
  • Allergic reactions: rashes, pruritus, occasionally exudative erythema multiforme and angioneurotic edema. Photosensitive reactions are rare.
  • Occasionally: seizures, mental disorders, irritability, confusion, hallucinations, tremor, hematuria, fever, rashes and other interstitial nephritis manifestations, phlebitis, crystalline urine, joint pain.

Warning:

  • Patients who are allergic to this product and fluoroquinolones are disabled
  • Renal dysfunction is used with caution, and if used, dosage should be adjusted according to the degree of reduction.
  • Liver dysfunction should be used with caution. If used, liver function should be monitored.
  • Patients with existing central nervous system disorders, including those with a history of cerebral arteriosclerosis or epilepsy, should avoid application and weigh the pros and cons when there are indications.
  • There are cross-allergic reactions among quinolones, and it is not appropriate for any quinolone hypersensitivity.
  • This product can cause photosensitivity reaction, at least 12 hours after the light is acceptable for treatment, during treatment and within a few days after treatment should avoid prolonged exposure to bright light.
  • When photosensitivity indications such as skin burning, redness, swelling, blisters, rashes, itching, dermatitis occur, treatment should be stopped.

Interactions:

  • Aluminum and magnesium contained in didanosine (DDI) preparations can be chelated with fluoroquinolones and should not be used in combination.
  • Urine alkalizing agent can reduce the solubility of this product in urine, resulting in crystalline urine and nephrotoxicity.
  • Probenecid can delay the excretion of the product, so that the product blood concentration increased and produce toxicity.
  • The medicine containing aluminum or magnesium can reduce the oral absorption of the product, it is recommended to avoid the same service, can not avoid when the product should be taken 2 hours before, or taken 6 hours after taking.
