Warning:

  • Cefaclor and other cephalosporin allergies are contraindicated.
  • Before using cefaclor, need to be sure if the patient had an allergy to cefaclor or other cephalosporins, penicillins, or other drugs. If this product is used for patients allergic to penicillin, attention should be paid because the literature clearly reports cross-allergies (including allergic reactions) in beta-lactam antibiotics. If an allergic reaction to cefaclor occurs, discontinue the drug immediately. If necessary, first-aid measures should be used, including oxygen inhalation, intravenous antihistamines and epinephrine, and tracheal intubation.
  • In the past, patients with certain types of allergies (especially drugs) should use antibiotics (including cefaclor) with caution.
  • Cefaclor should be used with caution in the presence of severe renal insufficiency because the half-life of cefaclor in anuria-free patients is 2.3-2.8 hours. In patients with moderate to severe renal impairment, the dose is usually unchanged.
  • General notes: The long-term use of cefaclor will cause inexperienced strains to multiply. Therefore, careful observation of the patient is essential. If a double infection occurs during treatment, appropriate measures must be taken.
  • Interference to laboratory inspection indicators: The copper sulphate urine test may be false positive, but the glucose test method is not affected; Serum alanine and transferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase and blood urea nitrogen can be elevated; The Jaffe reaction can be used to measure serum and urinary creatinine with a false increase.
  • This product should be empty orally, because food can delay its absorption. Milk does not affect the absorption of this product.

Interactions:

  • Antacids: The use of aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide within 1 hour of taking this product will reduce the absorption of the product. H2 receptor antagonists do not change the absorption and rate of this product.
  • Probenecid: probenecid can reduce the renal excretion rate of this product.
  • Warfarin: When the product is combined with warfarin, it is rarely reported that the prothrombin time will be prolonged in the clinic, with or without bleeding. At present, there is no special study to discuss this role.
  • The use of neomycin drugs such as furosemide, etatinic acid, bumetanide, and other diuretic agents such as cardiomycreatin, streptozotocin, and aminoglycoside antibiotics may increase nephrotoxicity. .
  • Clavulanic acid can enhance this product due to the production of β-lactamase resistance to Gram-negative bacilli activity.
