S.Q-Diclonac(Diclofenac Sodium) Uses:

Diclofenac Sodium capsules is the generic form of the brand-name drug S.Q-Diclonac, a drug indications are short-term treatments for the following emergencies:

  • Post-traumatic pain, inflammation, and swelling. For example: sprains.
  • Pain, inflammation, and swelling after surgery. For example: after dental and orthopedic surgery.
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology pain and/or inflammation. For example: primary dysmenorrhea or attachment inflammation.
  • Spinal pain syndrome.
  • Non-articular rheumatism.
  • Migraine attack.
  • As an adjunctive treatment for severely inflamed inflammatory inflammation in the ENT department. For example: pharyngeal tonsillitis, otitis.
  • According to the principle of conventional treatment, the primary disease should be given appropriate basic treatment.
  • Not suitable for patients with simple fever.

Warning:

Interactions:

  • Lithium preparations: Diclofenac can increase plasma lithium concentrations if used simultaneously. Plasma lithium levels should be measured.
  • Digoxin: Diclofenac increases plasma digoxin concentration if used simultaneously. Plasma digoxin levels should be measured.
  • Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs): In combination with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
  • Methotrexate: When taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs within 24 hours before and after methotrexate administration, care should be taken because the plasma concentration of methotrexate may increase and its toxicity may increase.
  • Cyclosporine: Diclofenac, like other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, may have an increased renal prostaglandin-induced renal toxicity of cyclosporine, so the use of cyclosporine should be lower Not users.
