S.Q- Ropine(Ropivacine mesylate) Uses:

Ropivacine mesylate for injection is the generic form of the brand-name drug S.Q- Ropine, a drug indications for surgical anesthesia: epidural anesthesia (including epidural anesthesia for caesarean section); local infiltration anesthesia; and control of acute pain: for postoperative or labor analgesia.

Side effect: The adverse effects of ropivacaine are similar to those of other long-acting amides. In addition to accidental injections into blood vessels or excessive accidents, side effects of local anesthesia are almost uncommon. It is to be distinguished from the physiological response caused by the blockage of the nerves themselves, such as decreased blood pressure and bradycardia during epidural anesthesia. Overdose and inadvertent injection into blood vessels can cause serious systemic reactions.

Warning:

  • Allergies to amide local anesthetics are contraindicated.
  • Patients with severe liver disease should be used with caution.
  • Hypotension and bradycardia should be used with caution.
  • Patients with chronic renal insufficiency with acidosis and low plasma protein should be used with caution.
  • Older patients or patients with other severe diseases who need regional anesthesia should do their best to improve the condition of the patient before performing anesthesia and adjust the dose appropriately.
  • The implementation of regional anesthesia must be based on the improvement of personnel and equipment. Drugs and equipment for monitoring and emergency recovery should be readily available. The venous access should be established for the patient prior to performing a large anaesthetic.
  • As ropivacaine is metabolized in the liver, patients with severe liver disease should be used with caution. Due to delayed drug excretion, doses should be reduced during repeated doses.

Interactions: Patients receiving other local anesthetics or drug treatment related to amide structures should be cautious when using ropivacaine injections together because the toxic effects can be cumulative.
