S.Q-Tetralin(Tetracycline HCL) Uses:

Tetracycline HCL capsules is the generic form of the brand-name drug S.Q-Tetralin, a drug is used as the preferred or selected drug for the following diseases.

  • Rickettsia, including epidemic typhus, endemic typhus, Rocky Mountain fever, tsutsugamushi disease, and Q fever.
  • Mycoplasma infection.
  • Chlamydia infection, including parrot fever, sexually transmitted diseases, lymphodenitis, non-specific urethritis, salpingitis, cervicitis, and trachoma.
  • Regression fever.
  • Brucellosis.
  • Cholera.
  • Rabbit fever.
  • Plague.
  • Soft squats. Treatment of brucellosis and plague needs to be combined with aminoglycosides.
  • Due to the fact that common pathogenic bacteria have serious tetracycline resistance, only when the pathogen is sensitive, this drug is used as an indication. This product is also not suitable for the treatment of hemolytic streptococcal infections and any type of staphylococcal infection.
  • This product can be used to penicillin allergy tetanus, gas gangrene, yaws, syphilis, gonorrhea and leptospirosis and Actinobacillus, monocytogenes Listeria infection patients.

This product can cause liver toxicity, usually fatty liver degeneration, pregnancy, women, patients with impaired renal function are prone to hepatotoxicity, but liver toxicity can also occur in patients without these conditions.
Blood system: occasionally causes hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia and eosinophilia.
Central nervous system: Even increased benign intracranial pressure can be manifested as headache, vomiting, optic nerve head edema.Renal toxicity: Patients with significant renal impairment may develop azotemia, hyperphosphataemia, and acidosis.

The application of tetracyclines can reduce the normal flora in the human body, leading to vitamin deficiency, fungal reproduction, and dry mouth, pharyngitis, angular cheilitis, glossitis, and dark or discolored tongue coating.

Cross-allergy: Allergies to a tetracycline drug are allergic to other tetracyclines.
Regular follow-up should be used to check blood routine and liver and kidney function during long-term medication.
When using this product should drink enough (about 240ml) water to avoid esophageal ulcers and reduce gastrointestinal irritation.
This product should be taken orally on an empty stomach, that is, 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals to avoid the impact of food on absorption.
The following conditions must be used carefully or avoided: Liver damage caused by this product, it is not appropriate to use these drugs for the original liver disease. This product can aggravate azotemia, it is not appropriate to use these drugs for renal function impairment. If there is indication, it should be carefully considered and be reduced according to the degree of renal function impairment.
In the treatment of sexually transmitted infections, if you suspect that you have a spirochete infection at the same time, you should perform dark field microscopy and serological tests before taking the drug. The latter should be used once a month, at least 4 times.
